HonorBound Men's Ministries
HonorBound Men's Ministries is dedicated to providing service and resources to the many programs for men of all ages in local Assemblies of God churches throughout our district.
Whether it is through Light For The Lost , the annual District Men's Convention, Softball Tournaments, Bass and Baja Fishing events, Agmen Regional Meetings, or one of many other events and programs, our goal is to see men led into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and enabled to follow the principles of His Word in a more effective manner.

WHY WE HAVE MEN'S MINISTRY?:
The PROBLEM for men in our society
For every 10 men in the average church…
- 9 will have kids who leave the church
- 8 will not find their jobs satisfying
- 6 will pay the monthly minimum on credit cards
- 5 have a major problem with pornography
- 4 will get divorced affecting 1 million children each year
- Only 1 will have a biblical worldview
- All 10 will struggle to balance family and work
In America today:
- There are 108 million men 15 or older
- 66 million don't know Christ
- Less than 6 million are in discipleship
- At least 33% of children will go to bed in a home without their biological father
- Divorce is rampant affecting 1 million children per year
- 33% of children are born out of wedlock
"As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another." Proverbs 27:17
"It isn't that they can't see the solution. It is that they can't see the problem." G.K. Chesterton
THE PROCESS:
We want to move men from isolation, to gathering, to experiencing, to openness, to belonging, and finally to brotherhood.
THE PROMISE:
Men desire for their lives to be productive - to have meaning and purpose. Men's Ministry is an instrument to accomplish that. "But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well," (Matthew 6:33).
The Men's Ministries Department exists to provide a setting where men can form friendships and mentoring relationships with Christian peers.
